The Institute for Radio Astronomy and Space Research (IRASR) offers undergraduate teaching in Astronomy and Masters and PhD research in Radio Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Geodesy. We have a 12m radio telescope and cutting edge IBM computing technology. We lead New Zealand's academic effort to join Australia in the bid to host the Square Kilometre Array (SKA).
