** Note for bookings during June/July/August. You must have your own 4WD ute or truck to access Shortland Station (SUVs or Subaru type cars are not adequate). There can be snow on the property and in the region affecting access** Shortlands Station is a high country sheep station at the base of the Kakanui Ranges, in the Danseys Pass corner of the Maniototo. It's less than 2 hours from Dunedin and just under 2 1/2 hours from Queenstown.
